SF60 HE: A Perfect Upgrade
As a normal FPS Gamer, I have only two requirements for a keyboard: stability and affordability. I bought a 75% layout keyboard before, but the wobbling and key chattering drived me to give it up.
I stumbled upon the SF60 on Reddit by chance. To be honest, it was my first time hearing of the brand-Chilkey. I had heard that the WS Flux series switches were exceptionally stable and unique, so I decided to buy it during the launch event on June 16th.
Appearance:
I fell in love with the SF60 the moment I got my hands on it,it exudes a premium feel with its CNC-alu case and metal keycaps. You can't truly appreciate its beauty without seeing or using it in person, the keycaps are so great that I’m almost afraid to get them dirty.
The cutout RGB on the sides and the small diamond accent in the bottom-right corner are breathtaking design details.
Comparing it to my old 75% keyboard feels like comparing a perfect crafted work of art to a piece of raw and unrefined material.
Daily Use:
I originally bought it for gaming, but the "thocky" typing sound offers a unique, brand-new experience. The typing feel is remarkably similar to traditional mechanical switches—I can hardly believe it’s a HE keyboard.
Gaming Performance: The webdriver is clean and practical, making it easy to configure common features like DKS, SOCD, and RT. The switches (called "Poseidon") are incredibly stable and smooth.
The metal keycaps aren't heavy and are easy to clean.
As for performance, I perceive virtually no latency.
I brought the SF60 to the office the next day, and my colleagues are envious, they generally think its value at $220 or more. I’m lucky I didn’t miss the launch event.
💎 Conclusion
Chilkey is a brand with immense potential that has truly earned my trust. The SF60 is the perfect choice for both work and gaming. It provides exceptional stability and performance at a wallet-friendly price. I feel that videos simply cannot show the SF60's looking and performance.
I really recommend everyone to have a try.
