INSTANT ACTUATION AND NO UNINTENDED CLICKS

Traditional mechanical switches transmit signals via metal contact, requiring software debounce delays to correct bounce artifacts caused by physical collisions. The Chilkey Blue Ghost Optical Switch employs infrared beam interruption technology, eliminating physical contact to eradicate bounce at the hardware level. This ensures zero-delay actuation and error-free precision without software intervention.

UNRIVALLED DURABILITY

Transmitting electrical signals without mechanical contact, the Chilkey Blue Ghost Optical Switch resists wear and tear and boasts a durability of up to 100 million clicks.

Thoughtful Design

A sleek and elegant exterior design, with the left button weighing 3g less than the right button, significantly reduces usage fatigue.
The scroll wheel encoder features a strong magnetic design that enhances tactile feedback, improving the overall user experience.

New Lightweight Experience

Weighing only 49g, this ultra-light design offers unparalleled lightness and exceptional durability, allowing you to remain comfortable and efficient during extended use while significantly reducing fatigue.

Versatile Grip Styles

The ergonomic design accommodates three different grip styles: palm grip, fingertip grip, and claw grip, providing exceptional comfort whether gaming for long hours or handling daily tasks.

Enhanced Stability and Control

Equipped with anti-slip textures and four small feet, it minimizes wear on larger mouse pads while providing excellent grip, ensuring the mouse remains stable on various surfaces and eliminating unnecessary sliding.

Honest Thoughts on Glacier 8k mouse

Pros:

The mouse is super light — you can hardly even notice it’s there.

The left and right clicks feel clean and snappy.

The scroll wheel has just the right amount of tactility and smoothness.

The left-side buttons are in a good position for my thumb. I have bigger hands (being a 6'2" male), and the side buttons feel great.

The mouse is shorter — I wasn’t sure if I would like that at first, but it works and feels great. It's also decently wide and taller than my other mice, which fits my claw grip style perfectly.

Performance is fantastic. The 8K polling rate is kind of a gimmick, as there’s really no noticeable difference between 1,000 polling and 8,000, but it’s nice to have it available.

Extra skate feet and grip tape for the mouse came included in the box.

Cons:

No offline drivers.

The battery is mediocre at best — up to a total of 80 hours at a 1,000 polling rate on 2.4G wireless.

The wireless dongle only has a female USB-C connection, so you cannot simply plug it directly into the computer. You have to use the 1m USB-C cable that it came with for wireless to work, and then unplug that and replug the USB cable to charge it. You can't do both at the same time unless you have an extra cable.

Lastly, I really don’t have anything negative to say about it. Time will tell, though. But it met all my expectations — and in fact exceeded a couple.
My top two favorite mice are the Razer Viper V2 Pro and the Glorious Model O V1, and if this mouse holds up over time, it will definitely join them as one of my all-time favorites.
